This is a lovely late 19th century Dresden pierced plate. Decorated in beautiful painted florals and pierced trellis work, it measures 21.5cm in diameter. The decorative work is attributed to Ambrosius Lamm, his specialty 'Alt Dresden' a special way of painting floral arrangements. The piece carries the back stamp of his factory in Dresden, the mark itself in use from 1887 - 1915. Some minor wear to the gilding but nothing of consequence.
