This is a lovely Victorian gold banded agate cross. It can be worn as both a brooch or a necklace. The cross measures 6.5cm in length and 3cm in width. The bands of gold wrap around the top and bottom of the cross, the fronts of each have a filigree pattern. There is a slight splitting of the gold on the base of the cross. The cross has a small chip to the back right arm of the cross but it does not detract and cannot be seen from the front. A gem.
