This is a wonderful decorative piece. It is a Georgian era horn snuff mull. Scottish in origin, it has silver mounts and is initialed  'AL' and engraved Alex Leslie. The mounts on the top of the snuff mull are scalloped, four of which are now missing. It measures approx 7.5cm in length. Enchanting.
